THIS is the correct take. Their chemistry was insane. Pairing him with Seven was such a mistake, though I am glad they didn’t pair her with the Doctor. Would have loved her and Harry to end up together, it would have been such a great journey for both of them. However, Tom and B’Elanna I stan forever <3

I think this is the most common view amongst Voyager fans. Chakotay and Seven was a garbage pairing. At least hook her up with Harry or someone she had an actual rapport with. But really, she should have arrived on Earth single and ready to finally be herself. And yeah, hard to beat Janeway and Chakotay's chemistry.

It’s made clear on multiple occasions in the books that Harry finds hanging out with Hermione for an extended period without Ron around boring, that he will avoid giving his real opinions on things because he doesn’t want to argue with Hermione about it and it’s very clear that Hermione doesn’t remotely fit what Harry wanted out in a girl. I fail to see how H/Hr not ending together is pretty glaring when they would have made a worse couple than R/Hr did.

Except Harry didn’t really liked the weird and whimsy side of Luna and that never really changed, even after they became friends in HBP. Book Harry clearly had a type and Book Luna didn’t remotely fit that at all.
