Ted Danson has admitted to wearing a toupee since the 80s. William Shatner wears one too and I think hes admitted that he liked the wigs on star trek so much, he used to regularly steal them.

Landon Donovan has been super open about his struggles with hair loss for a while. He had a transplant that went terribly wrong and wears a hair system now (which I think is just a wig/toupee but maybe someone can clarify if it’s different). He even made a joke during the World Cup about his hair blowing off. I would love to see this kind of openness and honesty from more female celebrities (especially those under 60). So many of the women in media wear wigs or extensions, but so few talk about it that it almost seems like having super thick hair forever is the normal, and anyone with a sliver of scalp showing is gravely ill or otherwise has something wrong with them.

Absolutely, each time I saw a clip of The Lion King, my brain immediately went to the Flavor of Love clip where New York is aghast at Hottie saying she got compliments that she looked like Beyoncé (in all fairness she did a little but that wig was just not good)
