Agreed. And entirely too much depends on if carrick makes it work or gets found out and if Bruno can maintain the phenomenal form from last season. I hope he can because he was class to watch but I would be very surprised if he can hit that peak again

Yes up to the point where a player wants £200k+ and then we can't compete as per the rules that have been put it place to prevent us from competing. If we could pay £300k a week Bruno wouldn't have gone, same for Tonali and Isak.

Yes, I do believe Bouaddi has what it takes to be a top player but do you honestly believe him being a starter with someone like Anderson (good player but not very experienced in the top level) can hit the ground running together in a team that’s supposed to win now? Bruno being a short term solution also works well. 2-3 years as a starter then another 1-2 as a squad option works best, especially since this means less pressure on Bouaddi and a better set up for when he’s 20-21 and ready to start week in week out.
