   **Champions:** Arsenal Arsenal are the only big club not going through a transition period and have likely entered Arteta's "peak years". Very hard to see a different outcome when it comes to the Champions. **Top 5:** Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, Aston Villa I think Chelsea will be the challengers this season. Big fan of Xabi Alonso, no European competitions to juggle, responded to criticisms of their transfer strategy (signing mature heads in Henderson and Welbeck). I have more faith in them more than others. City have a great squad and Marseca is an intelligent coach. Liverpool, I'm still not convinced have a good enough squad, but a good manager in Andoni. Villa, again, great manager and have been competing up there for a while now. **Relegated (3):** Newcastle, Coventry, Hull Newcastle have been running the club in a weird way. Last two seasons they've been going for transfer targets shared by the "Big Six" and lost out of them, seems like a failed attempt of punching above their weight, and now they've lost Tonali, Guimarães, Gordon and Howe. Massive transition period and there's not a lot of faith in (what's left) of their squad. Ipswich are just a well run squad, did better than expected the last time they were here and I think this season they manage to stay up (not dissimilar to Leeds). **First manager sacked:** Oliver Glasner This is such a weird appointment. Last season, it seemed apparent that Glasner wanted the sack, for whatever reason. Marinakis and Glasner sounds like the makings of a very toxic relationship, they'll bicker, Forest will underperform, and he'll be gone by Christmas with a very generous severance package. **Top goalscorer:** Erling Haaland **Top assister:** Bruno Fernandes **Golden glove:** David Raya Hard to pick anyone else for these besides the three above. Some distance between them and second most likely, given no injuries.
