Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

I know. I grew up a red and used to go to maine road. I lived two streets away, was completely priced out of going to old trafford as a kid but loved the fact city would let me in at half time free of charge. So I used to go and just watch lower league football. They were always good to me, and the fan base was brilliant. They have completely gone, a slow death. There are fans of City who despise it.

I said I don't want to get covered in beer, you said you've been in pubs and hugged your beer without spilling it, then you've been watching games on big screens where people "INTENTIONALLY lash beer all around the gaff". My point is I don't want to get covered in beer thanks. Your point is, you don't, they won't, they do and it's fine. You've undermined your own point. I *still* don't want to get covered in lager on my way home from a normal match. *Especially* if I've taken my kids to the game and now we ALL smell of it. Plenty of people having beer in the pubs before and after and even in the concourse during half time, no real need for it on the terraces.

the problem is half time, after you queue for a drink you end up missing avg 5 mins of second half.

  4. Comment

Why so binary, and totalitarian? I love a pint at a game when I go see other sports, but I'm a slow drinker. Like it'll take me 30-45 mins to have one drink. I hate necking beer (so sinking one in 5 minutes after queuing up at half time is a no for me), and I have 0 desire to drink so much I'm drunk out of my mind because I'm a responsible adult. But I also have other shit to do with my day and family and don't want to spend another hour or two after a game finding somewhere else to go and have a pint. I want to get on with my day. If someone drinks and gets rowdy, they should get dealt with accordingly and banned/fined etc.

Really against this. Performative pint throwers recording themselves covering everyone in beer… nah Nothing wrong with going down to the bar at half time, drinking in the stands just causes more issues than it’s worth
