Yeh you thinking surface level. Use ed Sheeran example he is 50 times bigger than all the players. They threatened to cancel his tour stadium bookings. Plus they can paint them as anti semetic as any excuse. Think of the championship players with contracts soon running out. They lose a lot of potential interest as they have been blacklisted. Look up Eamonn dunphy. Ex Irish player who was banned from playing for Ireland due to activism. I think they shouldn’t play but it’s easy when you aren’t seeing and hearing what they are hearing. We see artists and creators lose deals and projects because of activism. If you think Israel don’t use intimidation tactics you are extremely naive

You're absolutely full of shit. There aren't "regular" attacks on foreigners in Ireland. Any racism we have here is on par with any average western country. Also I'm not sure what the link is between racism and being against a country committing genocide?

Nazi Germany hosted an Olympics, took part in a World Cup and played many different international teams. I dont know why you are trying to frame Ireland's playing them as an anomaly in the sporting world of the time Edit: And of course there was a swastika on the poster. It was their national flag from 35 onwards. It would have been on every poster for a match involving Germany
