   Nobody sprint for 90 mins even for the highest pressing team in the world. Klopp squad especially frontline that are good at counter pressing are mostly gone. When Slot came and implemented his tactic, I doubt his training regiment focus mainly on high pressing. They could improve stamina to be back for intense pressing but that would take some time.

   This season won’t be a winning season, it’ll be more like getting us back to Prem League levels of fitness like we were under Klopp. It’ll take a while.

   I didn't misread anything - your post was dripping in negativity and pessimism. Maybe you should read it again, carefully, and if you think you're coming across as optimistic, I would recommend talking to someone. I also think you're a bit confused about our problems being "all of our own making". What does that even mean?? * Klopp decided to leave after 9 years, so we're looking for that next stable long term manager - that's not a problem of our own making. * Multiple players (Isak, Ekitike Leoni, Bradley, Jacquet) suffered long-term injuries leaving holes in the squad and depth issues - that's also not a problem of our own making. * Having half the squad miss most of pre-season due to the World Cup is also something that's not of our own making. You've also strangely decided that the strongest and most settled area of the pitch - midfield - is somehow a massive issue. The fact that we're not in the market for or have not signed any central midfielders should tell you everything you need to know about how Iraola and the club view that position. Really weird comments.

   Well it’s both. Slot made an active decision to have the players train less intensely and not work on fitness. If Iraola came in and inherited Klopp’s team, the players would have been much more prepared for run run run tactics than this current lot
