It is the most competitive top tier league in europe. Only serie A can compare. La liga, ligue 1, bundesliga aren't competitive at all. European league football as a whole just isnt that competitive especially compared to the America's where their first tier league has a wide range of winners.

I genuinely cannot believe you’re trying to compare La Liga with the PL. Mind boggling. Even ignoring the fact that in the past TWENTY years, La Liga has seen the same two teams win EIGHTEEN titles, with Atleti winning a rare TWO. The PL across the past 20 years has seen 6 different teams win it, with one of them being Leicester. If you want to ignore winners and just look at the varying teams that finish in the top 4/5 and qualify for UCL, it changes constantly, whereas the TOP 3 spots in La Liga are almost pre determined year in, year out. So no, La Liga is nothing like the Premier League.
