Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Well isn't that what happened and why Leeds etc fell into admin. It's not just oh let them spend and if they fail so be it. It's too stop historic pillars of the community collapsing which effects staff and the local area. Bolton was never a nice area but the difference between pl football and league 2 football for the area..

I don't know if that logic necessarily holds up? I think if anything many of us might be more lenient if it were a mid table club? Success in sports breeds resentment and City have not garnered a lot of goodwill over the last 15 years. Personally, I would like to see them expelled from the Premier League and in exchange for re-entering the pyramid in league 2 pay the Premier League a massive fine (billions of pounds), the overwhelming majority of which would be dispersed at the grassroots level of the game to to smaller clubs. All of the executives involved should also be given lifetime bans from English football. I think that would break up their squad, crater their revenues and make them spend 3-5 years climbing back up the pyramid.

That's because he's local. Probably went to Scunthorpe and grimsby away back in the day. Different breed. To be honest, the city fans at the stadium have pretty much worn it on the chin. They've had a great time and feel like being city is now catching up to them. Even if they get relegated to league 2, they will still turn up in their thousands. Then there's the fans you're talking to on the internet

    > would likely go in at the expense of side who otherwise would've been in league 2. They shouldn't relegate them normally. They should expel them, so four teams get relegated from the EPL this season. Then every league below can promote one more and that resolves this issue.

  5. Comment

Rangers weren't expelled to League 2, they had a "new registration" due to financial issues. Rangers did however use a tax-avoidance scheme to pay players and only received a small fine as the SFA found they had gained "no competitive advantage". I imagine Man City will get a similar punishment although a mega fine to make an example.
