Regarding the report that we’re looking to get damages for missed titles and European qualification, I think of Leicester, who finished 5th in both 19/20 and 20/21. Of all the sliding doors moments that’s right up there given what they look like now And spare a thought for Brendan Rodgers, who not only missed out on those two as Leicester manager but also being the man to end Liverpool’s drought (although you could argue Chelsea may have won that season, as you could Liverpool/Spurs in 2018) had City not existed in this form :

Getting money is not a problem. How you spend is the problem. For many english teams, this is great opportunity. Brighton, Aston Villa, Brentford are doing excellent. Then we see examples like Leicester. But that is down to bad business. Teams in LaLiga like Sevilla and Valencia will bust sooner than these english teams. PL is golden. Teams that do bad business will be replaced by teams that do well (see Leicester and Nottingham).
