No. A lot of clubs are owned/part owned by Americans. Liverpool are owned by John Henry. Arsenal are owned by Stan Korenke. Leeds are owned by the same people that own the San Francisco 49ers. Chelsea are owned by Todd Boehly. Man United are owned by the Glazer family. I've likely missed some, but my point is we've had a significant amount of American ownership for a while.
