Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

I’ll spare a thought for the Stoke, Watford, Sunderland and Villa fans your robbed of cup glory. I’d spare a thought to Gary Glitter before I spare a thought to you lot

I think people are seriously underestimating how big the fallout from this could be for City. If the reported findings stand, this isn’t only about taking away points or titles. We’re talking about years of clubs potentially losing money because they finished behind a team that was breaking financial rules. Think about the teams that finished second in a title race, the teams that missed out on Europe, and especially the ones that finished fifth while City took a Champions League place. United finished fifth behind City on goal difference in 2015–16. If I were United, I’d want to know what that missed chance at Champions League money was worth, not only UEFA payments, but ticket sales, sponsors and everything else that comes with playing in that competition. Then look at the cups. Sunderland lost the 2014 League Cup final to City, Liverpool lost in 2016, and Arsenal lost in 2018. I’d expect those clubs to look at their options too. And what about smaller clubs that missed a European place or lost a tight race where every pound could have changed what players they kept or signed the next season? The effects don’t necessarily end when one season ends. What makes it worse for me is that City failed to cooperate with UEFA’s investigation, and the Premier League also charged them with failing to cooperate with its investigation over multiple seasons. If the findings are upheld, clubs are going to ask how long they were left competing without the full picture. I’m not saying every club will win a lawsuit or that anyone can calculate an alternate league table perfectly. I’m saying there are enough possible losses here for clubs to spend years going through their accounts and making claims. City can appeal, and the league still has to decide the punishment, but I can absolutely see the legal and financial fallout becoming much bigger than the initial sanction. This could follow them for years.....

Wasn't it because the Sunderland players hand touches the ball before Anderson's and that's actually the reason it touched it? They analysed it in match of the day no?

As a Sunderland fan, I have to ask how did Danso not get minutes? Didn't have a great game against City but apart from that he has looked very good and a steal if the deal.goes permanent for the amounts reported?

Yep they kicked our ass. Good thing is we have had Villa away, Sunderland away, Brighton away and Chelsea home done
