   So let’s get this straight, they play Real Madrid every year, is probably the most hyped matchup of 2020s in the UCL. They won a boatload of leagues under one of the if not the best manager ever. News flash, winning brings you popularity and money, which you can use to propel yourself further. They’re reaping the rewards for being one of the best teams in the past decade. It’s very similar to how United were before 2013. It’s funny that some people can’t see the parallels here.

   It's more than the highline, he switches off, especially in the UCL. Barca fans are happy to ship him off even if it's temporary.

   Bouaddi has played for 2 seasons at Lille, has had good performances in the UCL as a 16yo (not Yamal level of course) and been their mainstay in the previous season. He has played 63 games in Ligue 1 already according to Fbref. So no, he’s not being bought just for the World Cup performances. I know that because I follow/ watch Ligue 1. He’s raw but he’s one of the best young midfielders in the league. I assume they don’t want a Neves situation again where they pass on a young player who looks very good & might end up being a generational player.

   Could be true for some, but big Ron literally cost us two UCL semis with red cards in the first half of said games by playing brain dead defense. He can be the best in the world at times, but he’s proven time and time again for us that he crumbles in massive games. Maybe a change of tactics and scenery do the trick, but the dude isn’t even first choice for Uruguay atm…..
