   Maybe on a surface level, yes. Imo the program runs a bit deeper. Consciously most people aren’t aware of these scare tactics, but unconsciously, they do seem to work. Most people still believe everything they see on the screen (aka the ‘tell-a-vision’ with ‘programs’), from set up wars to politics to carefully selected news, etc. Currently I’m watching the series ‘Silo’ and here’s shown exactly how the game is being played. Astonishing and a bit creepy at the same time. Control is the code word. If you believe it’s a coincidence that this happened with Xhaka, or most other ‘scandals’ — like Novak/xx (what’s in the name?) Djokovic not taking the vaxx years ago and not being able to play in Australia — then please go ahead.

   Yeah they were average until the refs started to allow fouling again almost like as a balance patch for the league and TV as Liverpool and City were just so far ahead. It was around that crazy Spurs Vs Chelsea game with Tuchel and Conte, otherwise Xhaka was getting a red every few games.

   I hear ya. For Xhaka, 10k is nothing. But on principle, I think this is fucked. It's pretty clear many countries were overzealous in their vaccine mandates and bullied people into compliance. At the time, this may have been justified. Now, its not. We now know that athletes like Kyrie Irving, Djokovic, and evidently Xhaka weren't wrong to resist the vaccines. Vaccines didn't stop transmission. Covid mostly fucked up the elderly and the overweight or otherwise unhealthy. It makes no sense to retroactively punish him for not complying with a policy that wasn't reasonable to begin with
