Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

[routine help] when should i start incorporating azelaic acid - I’ve been experiencing acne around my jaw area for about 5 months now. Recently, I added adapalene to my routine. Before that, I used Anua Azelaic Acid 15% for about 2 months. I think it helped a little, but I wouldn’t say it made a significant difference with my acne. However, I did notice that it helped with some of the redness and irritation, and I also didn’t experience much purging while using it. I stopped using it for about 3 weeks before starting adapalene because I wanted to let my skin rest from all the actives and focus on repairing my skin barrier. During that time, I mainly used the Physiogel AI Cream, which helped my skin a lot, especially with the irritation and redness. I’ve now been using adapalene for about 2 weeks, and so far, I haven’t experienced any purging or significant irritation. I’m planning to incorporate Skinoren azelaic acid into my routine because, unlike the Anua one, Skinoren has a higher concentration of azelaic acid and is more targeted toward treating acne. However, I’m not sure when I should start incorporating it, especially since I’ve only been using adapalene for 2 weeks and my skin seems to be tolerating it well so far.

[acne] Red marks after using skincare. 28M - So I’ve never done skincare before and started last October. I was using a gentle cleanse, toner, serum and a moisturizer. Later down the road I implemented sylliacid acid and that made my face break out like crazy. Keep in mind that I only did this skincare routine for no more than 2 months. I stopped completely after I noticed my face started breaking out into cystic acnes. My face rarely had acne, just an occasional pimple here and there before the skincare routine. Now whenever I get a pimple on the right side of my face, it turns red like this and stays for weeks. What should I do now?

Except for the nose, it looks like my skin. Dry/dehydrated, but easily clogged/overwhelmed/irritated with thick cosmetic stuff. * I got prescribed Epiduo - it's a hit or miss for me, i just cant seem to get over the purging phase and I got impatient and stopped after 2 months? Im restarting again. * TBH, **removing my major stress triggers and prioritizing a consistent (quality) sleep helped stop many new acne from forming coz those two have instant consequences to my skin**. When Im sleep deprived/stressed, I craved sugary drinks and fastfood meals and would have little energy for any moving my body and it was a feedback loop sadly. My skin got better on its own after several weeks, but it's definitely not the same, and I am still dealing with post acne marks. I guess i'll chuck it to aging and sports (sweat and sunscreen combined is also a known acne trigger for my skin ughh ). * I prefer my BHA in the cleanser form as I find that toners or serums are a bit too drying for me whos already using Epiduo. Make sure to introduce one skincare product at a time PLEASE no matter how tempting it is. * I find my skin likes the ingredients cica (and its many forms), panthenol, collagen, peptides, and hylauronic acid (and its many forms). I also like Olay Retinol 24 Max moisturizer but did not repurchase after 2 jars (it was B1T1) because it took me about a year? to finish the two jars because I find thick moisturizers every night to be sensory overwhelming even though i could see it was helping heal my mild acne. Im just waiting for my Epiduo to run out so I can explore other cosmetically elegant retinoid I would enjoy using more consistenly or IDK I'll see. * I'm correcting my nail bed but finding that long nails are not helping my acne situation. I basically had to choose between which aesthetic I want to maintain 😭😭 (and yes, I wash my hands regularly). * I also find milky toners to be irritating? they give me tiny bumps but im unsure what specific ingredients from thick toners do that. * This is definitely a lot but I hope this helps you even a little. My top advice would be to know your triggers and manage that, after that, you can evaluate if you still need help from a dermatologist. There will be some things you have to do consistenly but you decide which one's important for you.

[Product Question]Red Circular Mark After Overusing Pimple Patches - Hej, How can I speed up the recovery process? (It’s way more noticeable in real life than in the pictures.) The pimple patches I’m using is COSRX Acne Pimple Master Patches It has now been over 36 hours since I removed a pimple patch from between my eyes. There was a small pimple growing there and I kept replacing the patch whenever I saw an opening. I used one in the morning, another after school and another before bed.I have now learned that pimple patches can be overused and after removing the last one I noticed a red circular mark. I’m wondering if there is anything I can do to help it heal or fade faster. While I had the patches on, the area did not feel dry, irritated, painful, or uncomfortable. The night before I removed the last patch, it was also not red. There was still a small opening with some white material, so I decided to keep using the patches. Routine I also want to mention that I have been on Accutane for a little over 2 months, and I’m not sure if that could make my skin more sensitive. Morning \-Wash face \-Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream \-SPF 50 sunscreen( la roche posay Anthelios Uv-Mune 400 Oil Control Fluid SPF50+) Night \-CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser \-Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream \-L300 salicylic acid + adapalene/benzoyl peroxide on my nose every other day I’m keeping my routine simple because that is what my dermatologist recommended while Im on Accutane. I used to use more products.Should I just leave it alone and let it heal, or is there anything else I can do to speed up the recovery?

[Acne] Chin keeps breaking out all of the sudden!! - last summer i was eating so clean and going to the gym consistently and i remember my face was so clear, if i was breaking out it would only be a pimple or two before my period and that was it. Now my chin has been breaking out constantly for 2 months straight!! i stopped going to the gym for those 2 months and i also stopped eating clean. i noticed i started getting acne as soon as i started eating a specific type of chocolate biscuit that was full of sugar and oils. it was unhealthy and i’m guessing it started it all. i stopped eating it but i was still eating like crap. a week ago i stopped eating sugars and processed food and i’m trying to eat as clean as possible but i’m STILL getting those chin acne and they hurt so bad!! i do eat sugar free biscuits and i never had a problem with them in the past and i don’t think my acne is because of these sugar free biscuits. i eat whole foods now, i still haven’t gone back to the gym. my skin is usually very clear but this time it’s been breaking out like crazy only on my chin and a few on my nose. how long will it take until my chin stops breaking out and what more do i need to do? my skin care: cosrx everyday cleanser, Benzac AC 2.5% cream for my acne, i use a sunscreen as a moisturizer since i don’t have one yet.
