Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

I’ve been on this exact combination since June of this year (so about 3 months now). Don’t give up on it. I’m only just starting to notice results now. I kept getting new pimples throughout the first 2 months but they gradually slowed down and now I never get them at all! I’ve also noticed some gradual improvements in scarring and texture. These are long term treatments, keep with them and you’ll see results soon!

The flat red spots look to be PIE from the pimples that are gone and your skin is healing itself. While it's frustrating, it's totally normal. For whatever reason, these marks take a long time to heal - like anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months depending on the person. So there is no "ASAP" way to get them to go away. The best way to deal with the post-acne PIE is to keep your skin hydrated and strong. To do that, you're applying a good quality moisturizer that is acne skin safe (i.e. no pore clogging ingredients). Good ingredients in a moisturizer are: niacinamide, panthenol, sodium hyaluronate (or hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid) and ceramides. UV and sun exposure also make these spots heal slower, so use sunscreen every day.

[routine help] is this irritation from retinal? - Could this be from my retinal eye cream (beauty of joseon)? I’ve been using it for a while with no issues but I used to use it twice a week then upped to 3 times a week and then increased again to every night. I’m also using arencia vitamin c but I’ve been using it for like 2 maybe 3 months every morning and have had no problems. I switched my moisturizer too because my old one was breaking me out I now use cetaphil daily hydrating moisturiser

It's really hard to give advice when you haven't posted your full skincare routine. Do you cleanse twice daily and if yes, which cleanser(s) do you use? When you say you 'exfoliate' twice per week, what are you using? Is it Salicylic Acid only or something else? What is the strength? What moisturizer do you use? \~All of this information is needed to give a reliable answer to your question. But, in general, Azelaic Acid isn't the #1 thing to try for PIE. It can help, but not necessarily more than other things. PIE is normal after having a pimple... it's discoloration from your skin cells in the process of healing. It's also normal for PIE marks to take a long time to fade. Some people will see marks fade within 3 weeks, and some people may not see their marks fully disappear for 3 months. It just depends. The best way to fade PIE is through making your skin as healthy and strong as possible, which is via a good moisturizer (suited for your skin type) and daily use of sunscreen. A good moisturizer should contain things like panthenol, niacinamide, ceramides, humectants and occlusives. There are some ingredients, typically found in serums, that also help, such as antioxidants (of which vitamin C is one) and Centella Asiatica (Cica), Bisabolol and Alpha arbutin. Keep in mind that UV (sun) exposure can significantly slow down skin healing, so try to stay out of the sun as much as possible and regardless wear sunscreen every day even if it's cloudy it is outside.

It's probably hormonal, and it can hit suddenly, like a sledgehammer and destroy a face in 3 months. Definitely visit a dermatologist and consider isotretinoin.
