   Accutane kid! My acne was just like yours but worst. 12-17. Plus all over my neck and back. Started accutane at 17, was 80-90% better in 4 months. Lots of dry skin on face but manageable and a much better problem. About 95% better after 6 months. Did another 3 month dose a year later and I’ve been mostly 95% clear since, unless I overdose on lemonade or sugary stuff. Highly recommend, then move on with your life and find new problems to have. Good luck

   Another vote for accutane/isotretinoin. The thing is, you only have a few weeks to stop scaring. Can't spend 6 months using topicals and racking up 50 scars. If tropicals doesn't work in 4 weeks, then go for Accutane.

   [Acne] looking for guidance on how to clear my skin - ok so for starters, i’m coming to the internet to seek helpful advice on how to clear my skin 🤧. i typically deal w hormonal acne but it’s like this doesn’t look like it. some factors that may be influencing my skin: i did previously use the cerave hydrating foaming cleanser (but now switched to the LRP purifying foaming one bcs it’s supposed to be better for acne prone skin) both day & night. in the morning i would dry my face w a disposable face towel & apply clindamyacin, then i’d use the cerave daily moisturizer & then their 30+ spf sunscreen. at night i would do pretty much everything except for the sunscreen obviously. i’m also replacing the moisturizer for the dr. althea 345 cream! idk if that’ll break me out some more but i thought to just give it a try. i dont know what exactly is causing it since ive only recently started to breakout like this around earlyish last week. i mean, i have been on the depo shot for 6 months now which i’ve heard can cause these side effects but idk what exactly it is?? i have tried tretinoin which i dont think helped much but should i try the anua azelaic acid serum, might that help?
