   If a man said the exact same words in the exact same tone, no one would say he has an "attitude" or call him "condescending and snarky". Having watched a few dr Dray videos here and there, she doesn't sound either of those to me. Yall just chose to interpret any woman who isn't giving you costumer-service-Barbie voice negatively. Just one step away from also saying that she should "smile more".

   I like Dr Dray, I trust her insight. I like that she doesn’t encourage wasting money and splurging on ingredients that are unnecessary.

   I used to work with a securities firm, in the pharmaceutical/medical technology R&D division. I used to deal with a lot of Dr Dray types. She doesn't mean to come across as condescending, that's just her way. On top of her medical degree, she also has a PhD in molecular biology. For lack of a better word, Dr Dray is a nerd and has little bedside manner. She is 40 years old. Ever wonder what she looks like all dressed up.

   Dude, I hate her constantly demeaning, condescending attitude. Her and Dr. Idriss. Both are so condescending. In one video she was talking about a study scientists did on skin thinness and how the scientists figured out using 12% lactic acid 2x/daily improved skin thinness in older folk. Immediately she goes, “HELLOOOO!!!!! 12% LACTIC ACID IS AMLACTIN FOLKS!” It pmo. And the top comment? “Dr. Dray, thank you for all your suggestions and education, you never talk down to us unlike other derms.” And I’m genuinely like what?? I have a theory ppl picked up that she was condescending in that clip but were too uncomfortable to actually face that realization so they said the opposite, that she wasn’t condescending. Btw, she’s BLATANTLY wrong about some stuff bc she doesn’t keep up with new and emerging research. She said that there is no such thing as a non-prostaglandin analogue eyelash/eyebrow serum that actually works. Verifiably false. Everyone knows that serums with Redensyl, Procapil, Anagain, etc WORK and they don’t have prostaglandins. Her comment section was flooded with ppl correcting her and she can’t ever modify her stance and be incorrect. I have unfollowed 99% of online derms. I don’t appreciate being talked down to, yelled at, etc and getting attitude for no reason. I understand them being pissy bc so many idiots out there are putting beef tallow on their face and calling it sunscreen, and I get that must be frustrating, but don’t talk down to your followers over things they’re not doing. It’s the ppl that don’t know anything about skincare that are putting beef tallow on their faces

   Glycolic acid penetrates deeper and is better at increasing dermal thickness and inducing collagen production. It also resurfaces the skin faster than Lactic Acid. However, Glycolic is much more irritating than Lactic Acid so that’s likely why she prefers it for home use. I do like Dr. Dray but I do always watch her videos through the lens of her paid partnerships. Nevertheless, she has some good information that I usually use as a starting point for a search on PubMed if I want to learn more details,
