   [Acne] what to do with dryness & closed comedones on the side of nose - Asian oily and combination skin Currently using Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser (8/10, my skin doesn’t feel dry after even without lotion) & Cetaphil Daily Hydrating Oil Free Lotion (5/10? Not sure if it’s working well) I’ve applied salicylic & azelaic acid gel alternatively everyday around the area for 2 weeks but the closed comedones did not go away and my skin seems to be drier after. I don’t typically get so much closed comedones around this area they were cause by a lotion I used (CeraVe Moisturizer Oil Control Gel-Cream, did not work for me for some reason. Not sure what ingredient was causing the issue). I dont get new whiteheads anymore after I stopped using cerave but I can’t seem to get rid of the ones it already caused. Any suggestions could help!!! Thank you 🙏

   [Routine Help] Has Anyone Seen Results From Eye Cream/Eye Patch combo for dark circles? - I’ve been struggling with really bad reddish/purply under eye circles and I keep seeing on tiktok everyone talking about applying eye cream and then patches on top. there is one girl who has shown incredible results from doing this everyday for 30 minutes until the patches dry up. I have been trying it but yet to see any effectiveness. anyone else tried this method and what cream / patches helped the most? im currently applying the ordinary solution then BOJ ginseng retinal eye patches or either ole Hendrickson banana bright cream then the same patches on top. before that I was trying out the cosrx peptide ones. Or if anyone also had any advice for dark circles/what helped them that would be great thanks!

   I’m also totally okay with my max usage being every other day. My GP is like “you’ll get best results using it everyday” but I like how I use it 🤷🏼‍♀️

   Why? Like no? This is potentially bad for your skin. You would be going from nothing to at least lightly exfoliating everyday. Depending on if you end up using something with an active, this can be very damaging to your skin. Just wash your face in the shower with a gentle face cleanser. That is pretty low effort, yes? As long as you shower at least every other day. If you absolutely must do the wipe thing, just use fragrance free micellar water on a disposable cotton pads. Absolutely do not use something that has a chemical exfoliant like salicylic acid. You'll probably need a moisturizer after in both cases (swipe or shower). But after wiping, you're potentially putting moisturizer on top of residue.

   [acne] How to help pores that are non-reactive to treatment? - Hi, as per the photo and title, what should | do? What | currently do: double cleanse (oil plus "normal" cleanser), wearing sunscreen and a hat everyday for the past 5 years (even more than 2 "fat"finger lengts as recommended and reapply), for the past 4 months I do niacinamide in the morning (which should help my pores too), In the evening I either just hydrate (cerave dark blue hydration) and then either retinal (gentle) or just the hydration. Yet nothing is changing. Why could it be? I truly don't understand. (I also have some redness too, not sure why..) I am 23 if that helps.. Edit: I have never used any make-up or consealer or powder or any of that sort
