Is it possible you're allergic to one of the products you're using? I used a micellar cleanser recently and it felt great for a few days but then I just got crazy general redness and itching. Turns out the main ingredient (propylene glycol) is the same as the main ingredient in gel deodorants that I am also allergic to.

Looks as if the skin is irritated maybe peri oral dermatitis literally cleanser and moisturizer and nothing more something is making you skin angry! I had this when I scrubbed to hard with a retinoid! All I did for a few days was washed with water and moisterizer! I used LRP cicaplast balm and it really helped!

On the layering question - toner goes first after cleansing, actives after, so it won't reduce effectiveness, if anything a hydrating toner on damp skin helps actives absorb better instead of just sitting on a dry surface. For recs I'd try Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Toner or Torriden Dive-In toner, both are milky/hydrating without being heavy and shouldn't break out acne prone skin. Given how many actives ur already running (azelaic, vit c, retinal, peptides) I'd patch test the toner on its own for a few days before adding it into the full routine, just to rule it out if anything reacts.

Haha thanks, I’ve got (almost) full body sugaring scheduled a few days before the wedding. I’ve done it 100s of times before so hopefully should be good 😭
