Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

[Product request] Red skin around nose - Does anyone know what this is? I did some research and tried Selsun Blue (selenium sulfide 1%) and it stung and made things worse. I've practically done no zero skincare in my life and this redness has been with me for a long long time. Also I am sucking in my lips as the redness is most visible that way. Also kinda curious how pore-y my nose is compared to normal

[Routine Help] Need help fixing or improving upon current skincare routine - Current routine: AM: after washing hands, splash face with lukewarm water, moisturize a little with the La-Roche Posay lipikar body lotion. Still looking for a non-greasy sunscreen that doesn't make my concealer separate. I do my makeup after. PM: First cleanse with micellar water and cotton round, then La-Roche Posay toleriane foaming face cleanser. Pat dry with a clean towel, then apply a BHA/AHA 2% Salicylic acid with a cotton round, not sure of company, after waiting 15 I then go in with the same moisturizer as AM. My main focus is the blackheads on my nose and surrounding, since I'm unable to afford facials as of now I would want to see if I could somehow be rid of them at home. Acne scars are another point of concern, I pick at my acne a lot due to my anxiety. Note that I struggle with MDD so this routine has been a little inconsistent, but for the better part of this month I have been consistent and seen little to no change. I do use serums every now and then, but it's mainly just vit C stuff. Any advice is appreciated, please and thank you. Do note I have an oily t-zone, and I'd say normal textured cheeks.

Also worth asking about perioral dermatitis before piling on more actives. It can look like acne localized around the nose and the usual acne products can make it worse.

Okay, I made a slight semantic mistake in the title. You can definitely see skin collapse right near the nose and clear lines around the mouth. Perhaps not full blown skin sagging folds, but the lines are obvious.

[Acne] How I have clear skin after 17 years! 🎉 success story - Hey All! I wanted to share my routine that finally helped me get clear skin after having horrible acne and scars since I was like 12. I am now 29 years old. I've done everything short of taking prescription acne meds over my struggle. I went to several derms when I was a teenager, Ive used several different sets of prescriptions creams, gels, cleansers, etc. I've had laser face treatments done that shrink your pores. I was put on birth control for a decade, which I am no longer on. And of course I've tried all the advice I could find on the internet, but nothing truly worked. I know acne is caused by different things for everyone, but maybe someone out there will have the same issue I did and my routine will help them as well. The biggest thing that changed my face is zinc. I know that is not NEW news to a lot of people but for some reason I heard about it too and did not try it all these years. This alone fixed like 90% of the acne on my face, so if you don't want to read the rest of the post let that be your takeaway. I was always told that I had hormonal acne but that was just not the case. Ive spent years trying to "fix" my hormones when there was nothing wrong with them in the first place. I never had any other symptoms of misaligned hormones, just acne. Every single one of my breakouts always had a hard keratin plug in it, even the cystic acne that I would get on my jawline. So if you find that your acne also follows that type, I really urge you to try taking some zinc. Zinc basically makes the keratin less sticky and so it slips out of the pore way more easily, instead of getting stuck and then infected and then turning into a pimple. Vitamin C helps produce collagen which just further aids this process. I've listed below everything that I use and tiered it out from what REALLY WORKED to what just kind of supported or polished off the results. Here's my routine as well, it is very simple but has worked unlike anything else. Routine: In the Morning: Mist > TO niacinamide + zinc serum > Mist > Apply Primally Pure antioxidant balm > Mist > Done. After this I either wear nothing or use Primally Pure's sun cream which is also tinted so I count that as my makeup. Before Bed: I slather my face in Hemp oil and massage just a little bit but mostly just let it sit for a couple mins. This will remove my makeup if Im wearing any or will just be part of my oil cleansing routine if Im bare faced. After that I wash the hemp oil off with Primally Pure's clarifying bar. I didn't see anything special about this bar so honestly just use whatever your favorite cleanser is. If Im wearing makeup I will go back in with the clarifying bar cleanser again and use the Foreo Luna this time. This part really helps my sebaceous filaments and rough skin on my nose/chin/jawline. After that I will do the same routine as the morning. Mist > TO niacinamide serum > Mist > Primally Pure antioxidant balm > Mist > Done.
