Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

We do understand but we are here for OUR entertainment not yours. That’s the thing you fail to understand. Add all the labels and disclaimers you want, I won’t care And yes in case you haven’t noticed Reddit is basically THE place for everyone to write up their shit as they please

Lawyer here, but this isn't formal legal advice of course :) Good news for your budget: HIPAA almost certainly doesn't apply to you. It covers health care providers and insurers, plus the vendors that handle patient data on their behalf. An indie pregnancy app that users download and type into themselves is none of those, so a HIPAA advisor is not what you need right now. What actually reaches you is the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule, which covers consumer health apps, and the FTC has enforced it against period and fertility apps for sharing data with ad networks. Your real exposure sits in the analytics and advertising SDKs rather than in your disclaimer text. Pull up every third-party SDK. In the building and, check what it's actually transmitting. Washington and Nevada also passed consumer health data laws that reach apps your size, and Washington's lets individuals sue directly, which is unusual and worth knowing about. Your disclaimers already cover the medical advice angle better than most apps I see. Spend the money you were saving for the advisor on the SDK audit instead.

Most definitely. Imagine the worst possible scenario with your AI bot advising a pregnant woman. The potential for a terrible outcome is non-zero ... You need that disclaimer to be legally bullet proof **in all territories/jurisdictions around the world in which your app is available**.

  4. Comment

You can’t protect yourself from being sued. Anyone can sue anyone else. Best to incorporate under a business name to protect your personal reputation and your assets. Disclaimers and the like just merely make it less likely to happen.

  5. Comment

I wouldn’t touch medical data or giving medical advice, nevermind AI advice that is likely to be wrong, with potentially deadly consequences, disclaimers or not, even with an army of lawyers. Think of the people using your app. Medical data alone is a nightmare. I find it hard to believe you’ve met all the privacy requirements of different countries and states. As a practical matter in addition to the legal stuff, consider that you may need certifications and 3rd party audits. Yes, you need a lawyer. This is a very complicated area of the law so it’s not going to be quick and cheap. And it may turn out to be a dead end for you.
