Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

I will not promote: Are design systems becoming infrastructure for AI agents, not just designers? I’m a product designer and I’ve spent a lot of time building and maintaining design systems. Something I’ve noticed recently is that the audience for a design system is changing. Traditionally we designed systems around two consumers: designers who need components, tokens and patterns, and developers who need implementation guidance. But AI coding agents are becoming a third consumer. The interesting problem is that an agent doesn’t necessarily understand a component just because it can see its visual representation. It needs context around intent, relationships, constraints, naming and expected usage. That has changed the way I think about design-system documentation. Instead of asking only: “Can a developer implement this?” I’m increasingly asking: “Could an AI agent understand why this component exists and when it should use it?” I’m curious how other founders building AI-assisted products are thinking about this. Do you think product/design systems will eventually need an explicit machine-readable layer, or will AI models become good enough that traditional documentation is sufficient?

(I will not promote) Can I get a job and continue with my startup? - I quit my job about a year ago to found a solo “startup” and I even have a couple people helping me, not formally working for me. However due to a sudden medical issue I’ve been drained of my savings. Its a hardware company not super industrial but we still need about $20k to build any mvp. I’ve just about run out of money and am in credit card debt from medical bills. There is a settlement that I cant rely, but is a possibility in the future. But as of right now I’ve had to move back home and I am currently looking for a job. I tried to get a regular job and they told me I was overqualified. I believe in/want to continue my startup with everything in my bones, but I need some income to sustain me. The company is already registered and I’ve listed it on my resume, but as a secondary no founder role. (I wasn’t getting interviews with founder listed). I never outright lied in interviews but also didn’t divulge I was founder, it rarely even cane up. The issue is will I be able to continue working on it while at another company. Theyre not a direct competitor but the companies I’m qualified/getting interviews for are so big that the definition is broad. My lawyer said they probably won’t come after me unless I make it big.. but isnt that the point. He said to consult him after the fact but im getting anxious, I know big companies have moonlighting clauses and NY and California don’t enforce but I want to hear any advice from people who may have had a similar situation. Will disclosing this in prior inventions make them rescind the offer?again not a direct competitor but who knows what they’ll try to claim. Can I even still work on it? Do I try to raise from friends and family? I keep getting told against this? What should I do to protect myself and my idea? I feel like I didn’t even get a shot to really even bring my idea to life.

I had the same thought. The legal structure feels like something that should’ve been stress-tested before a huge round like this. And I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some relationship drama underneath it too. Lawsuits between founders and early investors usually feel like the last step after a bunch of smaller conversations already went badly.

If I was the founder I'd use this to do a massive secondary and then laugh as I replaced myself with someone else to deal with the bullshit.

Honestly, to me it really feels like someone screwed up on the fundraising documents and terms. This should have been flagged by their lawyers early on as a potential problem. It could also be that either day one or the founders/execs might have blown off or otherwise pissed off each other. In my experience this tends to happen more when someone feels slighted somehow.
