Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Maybe learn to read next time. The word “profit” is not in OPs post. He didn’t ask for people *profiting* $1M. That’s not relevant to the discussion at all. I’m not BSing anyone. I didnt claim or even imply that was profit. You’re just an idiot looking for confrontation.

Make a list of the various pain points a restaurant owner faces - everything from hiring, to training, to accounting, to staff scheduling, to ordering supplies, etc., including floor staffing optimization for maximum profit and customer satisfaction. Don't sell your idea, just list the problem you are solving along with their other pain points. Have the owners score each point with their pain and frustration level on a seven point scale. Then have them score each item for how much it impacts their business. Now you have a heat map of what they do and don't care about. If they only give floor optimization a 3 or 4 level of pain and a 1 or 2 for impact, you don't have an opportunity.

If the $3 million capital from investors bought them 20% you return them 6.6% in that year. That assumes you distribute the entire profit and don't reinvest for growth. From the investor's perspective they're better off investing in the stock market. Now, $1 million of profit with no investment is good, but it is not good if you raise capital.

Even those are outliers. Many are going to be side gigs and zombie businesses that likely don’t generate much top line revenue or profit. Did you not fail if you generate $100k in sales and broke even but get the doors open? If you did a $2000 consulting contract once this year?

>Not knowing how much time I had to sit and wonder in the restaurant until someone noticed me is not a problem to you? If you have data that shows the cost of this problem, show that to your potential customers. So, what's the cost? It's really simple: If you can either save me money, make me extra revenue/profit, or increase my customer/employee satisfaction, you have my attention. If you don't, you better get used to hearing "we don't need it".
