Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

I had that in my relationship, I met my ex...well somewhere where I'd rather not say (not anything disgusting, just a bit touchy topic) and it stayed a long distance relationship, so after it fell apart after some time I just gave up. Especially since I'm homeschooled and have not made a friend for the past 4 years aka ever since I entered high school.

Why is it so hard to just be friends with girls - Im a junior in highschool and have tried to talk to alot of girls that I thought would be fun to talk to and all of them thought I was trying to hook up with them. Ive asked over 30 girls in my school and apparently its not allowed to just have a hg to talk to about life. Also its not just me, its alot of the other boys having problems to, what happened to this generation man. I have anxiety so its already hard enough to talk to people about my life and just have true deep convos, but this makes it impossible. Also its not like im a guy who is terrible, im an honest man who likes to help other with their life but guess thats not a good trait in highschool.

Did you get good grades in high school?

my high school requires you to complete a foreign language pathway. and they don't mind if you choose more than one but to graduate you must go through one class

US public schools do teach a second language, but it honestly is a weird system. When you’re in elementary/lower school (let’s say around the age of 6-8) you usually get “taught” a language, but it’s essentially only basic vocabulary and games rather than anything like conjugations and serious grammar. After that, the only time you really start learning a language again is in high school (upper school) because x amount of language credits are required to graduate. Even with those classes, most kids don’t end up fluent in the language they elected to take because they simply don’t care. As for the kids who decide they want to learn Latin… well, no one speaks that anyways so it doesn’t really matter. Sometimes schools let you take a little bit on language in middle school, but most don’t and usually it’s also pretty useless stuff. College, university, secondary schooling, whatever you want to call it, is when most US citizens end up taking a good language class and even *then* most people who take language is college *still aren’t fluent*. And that’s not necessarily because of the class and usually because a.) lack of effort/motivation or b.) the “it’s too hard!” attitude. TLDR; US citizens are “taught” a second language, but language classes do a terrible job teaching students for the first \~9 years of their schooling and following that kids just don’t care/aren’t motivated because it’s ended up that most of the world caters to English anyways
