   well not every sex results in conceiving, so I think it only punishes when, a child is conceived. Also you have assumed a core concept that isn't true to fit your own narrative, and people unironically believe that you shouldn't have sex both male and female unless you r ready to teke care of a child because of that risk, and those people have the right to express that when voting.

   You could argue it's just an element of the patriarchy, but there's a reason male suicide rates are significantly higher than women's and people being told from a young age that they're "inherently bad" just for being born in the wrong 50% of the population totally doesn't help that. Additionally, if a boy or man is sexually assaulted / raped by a woman it is far less likely that they'll report it, let alone be believed. Once again this can be attributed to patriarchy but a lot of women definitely aren't helping when it's sometimes said that the man is "lucky" or something along those lines. Obviously just want to add on that misandry is nowhere near as bad as misogyny, not arguing that, but it definitely \*is\* real.

   The only male equivalent of a woman opting out of a pregnancy is him making the decision not to ejaculate inside of her. Child support has nothing to do with preventing/terminating a pregnancy which is why that comparison in fairness makes no sense. Plus, there are situations where abortion can be the responsible decision (non-viable deformities, DV in household, etc.) whereas withholding child support will always affect a living child’s well-being. You can think it’s not fair that the woman has all the power to choose whether a pregnancy continues but that’s just the reality of things when only one party has to bear the physical burden of the consequences. Yes, both parties can consciously choose to engage in unprotected sex. But if you aren’t the one who will be carrying the pregnancy, the obvious and logical thing to do is prevent it from happening in the first place if you don’t like the concept of the pregnant person making a decision you might not like.
