   Most pro-lifers I’m familiar with would argue that, yes, if you’re not willing to raise a child with your partner, then you should not be having sex with them. This argument goes for men just as much as women; if you’re not willing to support her & raise whatever potential children may (even accidentally) result, then you shouldn’t be having sex with her. Pregnancy is not just a natural consequence of sex; it’s its biological purpose. Furthermore, intercourse isn’t like eating, breathing, or sleeping. Never has anyone ever died from not having sex. Of course, none of this is *why* pro-lifers are actually pro-life; pro-lifers believe that the unborn have just as much of a right to not be murdered as any other human.

   It wasn’t just drug induced psychosis, it was postpartum psychosis as well. Most societies views pregnancies and drinking differently, and the negative side effects also differ. Anyone can get blackout drunk, but not every pregnancy triggers postpartum depression or psychosis. Many societies actually recognize the dangers and offer postpartum support to new mothers. The US just happens to rank last among OECD nations because US society does not put much weight on postpartum support.

   Men can cause almost infinite amounts of pregnancies, a woman can only ever complete one pregnancy per year. Also male orgasms are the ones that actually cause pregnancy, female orgasms don't. So bad analogy. It actually makes far more sense to put the reproduction burden on men, and require them to wear condoms or use other means of birth control.

   Wow jump straight to the less than 1% of cases. Should we orient society around the smallest groups? What if there was some mental illness that caused people to have a seizure seeing a stop sign, no matter how we designed it, should we just not have stop signs? Yes condoms break, birth control fails, guys sometimes get off inside instead of pulling out, that is still a choice to have sex. Having sex, no matter the protection, ALWAYS, has a consequence of pregnancy. That is a choice! An yes i can, an actually have. An you wanna know what? I was pressured about having kids, not sure what the point you were trying to make there was but whatever. An women can also do the same thing if they dont wanna get pregnant. An even after all that... neither option is 100% effective! So if you choose to have sex you could potentially get pregnant, meaning its still a choice.
