   what are you on about ? there was no rape involved in that story AFAIK, so i'd like some source on that. also, the killer already attempted to kill trans women in the past. EDIT : after digging more : according to the court records, the murder happened after an argument between the two. they had been in a relashionship for over 2 years at that point. he then drove home, and left her to die without calling either help, or the cops. those rape accusations seem a bit far-fetched.

I WAS RAPED!!! I DIDNT KNOW THEY WERE TRANS!!! RAAAAPEEEE!!" **that was consensual sex, you're just transphobic.** 2) you said lying to someone just to get laid is rape. you did not mention rape by deception. and yes, whether it leads to anything or not it's still a form of rape, so i'll correct that. however, in the cases where things like this happen and legal action is taken, it is legally prosecuted as rape which is what i was talking about. 3) where did you even get this info... even if this was true, not telling someone you're trans before intimacy is a justifiable reason for murder??? let's use our brains. 4) rape wasn't even mentioned in the case at all. we're talking about using the victims gender as part of a self defense case. if that makes them lessen his sentence it just proves anti trans ideology was at play here... if it was truly self defense and the justice system has an inkling of sense, they would rule the same way - male, female, cis, or trans.

   Creating this atmosphere of fear around being LGBT is what causes actual crimes to go unpunished. I think you should double check your messages and realize all you're doing is encouraging the use of the so called trans panic defence. As for the actual definition of rape (that's your message i replied to just 5 mins ago), see my response to your message.
