   I think a lot of people misunderstand exactly how hormone therapy works. They dont get that hormones affect your physical abilities, not just your appearance. This makes it a lot easier for transphobes to target Trans women as opposed to Trans men. People think Trans women are a lot closer to men physically when, in reality, Trans men are obviously closer physically to men and vice versa. There are enough people who dont understand it and transphobes can use that lack of understanding to be all "men in women's sports, unfair!!!" whereas they would struggle to make those same claims with Trans men in men's sports. It's a bad faith argument doing its best to disguise itself as a good faith one

   That IS what it's about. They're asking why trans women are so hyper-visible while trans men are invisible, my point as to is because for years society has seen women as weak, defenseless, and helpless. Nobody ever thinks trans men are going into bathrooms to molest men, because they think "women" (trans men) are incapable of that. Just look at the amount of people who think a woman can't rape a man. People only ever assume that trans men transition to protect themselves, or to get the freedoms men have, or to break apart the patriarchy. That's why terfs seem to have way less of a problem with us than they do with trans women.

   I mean all the controversies involve trans women in women's spaces, never seen it for trans men In mens spaces.

   The real answer is that women care about trans women in their spaces, men don't care about trans men in theirs.

   Because trans men don’t really fit into their transphobic agenda, and acknowledging that trans men exist destroys a lot of their arguments
