Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

I thought America was energy independent why 🥭 need to buy a days worth of diesel from Russia and make a big deal about it?

the "pascal's wager" makes all of those ruminations moot - if we need 100x more memory - it doesn't matter it's a commodity, or that chinese can step in, but yes, if we want to stay closer to the ground - then sure those are risks, having said that you poorly supported this argument: \-HBM is not a commodity at all \-DRAM absorption is going to go off the charts BY HBM, in America and the west \-and yes we ain't gonna start uptting chinese stuff in our datacenters margins will go down after we have expanded capacity. That's slower than you'd think, even for this "commodity", and even then - at first the entire extra capacity will get absorbed too, if we'll truly need as much memory as EVERYONE IS SAYING (and have been right for a while now, as models continue going off the charts with capabilities)

“We’ve got the Gulf, we’ve got a beautiful lake, and now somebody said, ‘You need a river,’” Trump said. “I don’t want to change the name of the Hudson River. Henry Hudson, he did a good job sailing up that sucker a long time ago.” “So we need a river and we need an ocean. So I was thinking either the Atlantic or the Pacific. We call it Trump Ocean, or Ocean of the Americas. Something like that.”

I worked in the data center industry recently so can speak to this. Three big things that will prevent this from taking off no pun intended: 1. Fuel cost to deploy assets of any type into space at scale. This gets exponentially worse once you factor in regular maintenance. 2. Radiation (people don’t understand just how much is out there and how damaging it is to electronics). 3. NIMBYism (if you think the political situation is bad in America… wait till you hear about countries not wanting other countries clogging up the atmosphere. Also toss in national security concerns and this alone makes it non-viable). Also I found it comical you used AI to write an investment hypothesis for AI infrastructure deployment.
