Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Those data centers are all being debt financed cheaply because nvidia writes contracts that say that they'll buy any unused compute at the data center, which to lenders means there is guaranteed demand and low risk of course that means if the data centers actually do end up vacant, nvidia specifically is on the hook for all of it and is completely fucked that's why burry is shorting them specifically and not the other ai-driven stocks with way worse p/e - AMD's stock price is crazy and will drop 80%+ if the AI bubble bursts, but if nvidia's earnings disappear it'll also cause them to have billions and billions of dollars of new outgoing obligations. they might legitimately be begging for 2008-style government bailouts (if you let us go out of business, china will win the AI war!) to avoid liquidation

as a Canadian passport holder, you are absolutely right. "Minister’s directive (2) If, notwithstanding the consultations provided for in subsection (1), there should emerge a difference of opinion between the Minister and the Bank concerning the monetary policy to be followed, the Minister may, after consultation with the Governor and with the approval of the Governor in Council, **give to the Governor a written directive concerning monetary policy, in specific terms and applicable for a specified period, and the Bank shall comply with that directive**." Think how much faster USD would go to moon if there was a similar clause for the Federal Reserve... just fucking do what the government says, because... crowns and kings and shit...

Keep the loan, it's free money. Government does it all the time.

But the people in the government needs to have a brain not boomer like how they grilled TikTok CEO with bunch of nonsense statement.

Hyperscaler debt issuance is crowding out government debt issuance. Money being forced to leave treasuries to fund it, because all the risky money is already in. Which is driving yields up. Which is driving mortgage & credit card rates up. Just another day in economic paradise, subsidising the Great Overbuild.
