Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Yep we're getting told "If you prompt for 1 min and then wait for 10 min, you have time to use 10 more agents asynchronously. Staring at a loading spinner is a waste of time". I hate the future.

The 1 min of work then 10 mins of scrolling is the part that would hollow me out too, especially with ADHD where the hyperfocus loop is basically the whole reward. One concrete thing that helps: keep a single project where the model is banned, even a toy one. You don't get 2019 back, but the craft doesn't have to live only inside your day job.

\> 1 min of work followed by 10 mins of doing nothing Why though? While one agent is off running an investigation into how to improve performance on an endpoint, another agent is off fixing test and CI failures on a PR, and I'm talking to a third agent setting up a new feature. There's ALWAYS something to do, and if I ever get to the point where all agents are truly busy and I don't have any reason or capacity to spin up another one, there's always team mates, product decisions, datadog, meetings, slides... it just never f\*ing ends. Seriously, since the advent of AI I have never been bored at work. I have ADHD too, and if anything I need to consciously make time for procrastinating during my workday because otherwise I'll be 8 hours straight up grinding. It's so addictive, always have at least 5 plates spinning. Compared to pre-AI, it's like lategame Factorio where you have construction bots and are just remote controlling everything.

It's normal to feel grief as the loss is real. The best thing you can do it try to find the joy in this new environment. > Now its all prompting and waiting. 1 min of work followed by 10 mins of doing nothing and mindless scrolling. This is probably the biggest thing impacting how you're feeling now. Try working out how to manage multiple agents at once, and getting them to work for longer (so you context switch less). You won't be writing individual lines of code but you may find enjoyment in orchestrating a larger fleet of agents.

The part about 1 min of work then 10 mins of scrolling hits way too close to home. The waiting during generation feels like it's designed to make me pull out my phone Used to get into a flow state where hours disappeared, now I'm just babysitting a text generator and refreshing feeds between prompts Also the way you described losing the weird quirks and syntax familiarity, that's the part nobody talks about. Like losing fluency in a language you loved speaking
