Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

You’re right! 15 years and never had an issue.

You can't remember a basic loop after 15 years in a single language? That seems insane

    > I can memorize solutions but what happens when a new problem comes up in an interview and I can't remember the syntax even if I know I need a loop or some thing else to solve a problem? I've been there, and what worked for me was just doing it. Figure out the solution, but don't memorize it, learn how it's solved. Try to see the logic behind each line of code that answers the problem. You can use a you-know-what to help you with that, but I'd use it as a last resort because figuring something out yourself helps you understand the concept and the logic much better And when a new problem comes up, do the same. Especially if you're aiming for backend development, it's not all querying the database and printing the html. Designing complex algorithms, figuring out optimized ways to do the same thing is also a part of the job, and there's no easy way. Think about all the things you currently know, you didn't learn them in a few minutes. It takes time to learn something, and it takes practice to internalize that knowledge and to know when you need to use that particular approach. I've been a backend developer for 15 years and I'm still learning something new every day about my field.

One time I removed 16,000 lines of legacy code that had jsut been commented out by the sole developer on the project for like 15 years He would sign all his comments with his initials and often put a date. It was wild. He was not easy to work with.

Sometimes the answer is simply "nope." Had someone reach out to me for a redesign, along with 15 years....yes, 15 years of Blogger posts (daily) converted. I make him laugh with "maybe 2 million."
