Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Yes, i would say its accelerated that. As to whether it shows up later as technical debt remains to be seen. Maybe AI will improve fast enough that it can rectify things.

With or without AI. There are always going to be things to do. Backlogs to clear. One strategy is to clear it somewhat faster with AI and still have room for more. Thus hiring more people. But first your company needs to remain profitable. Things have clear ROI or visions that goes beyond what you are doing right now short term. Another is to identify projects with bad ROI and cancel them. When there is not enough work to do once a bunch of things gets cancelled, people get laid off. And this usually happens because company either wants more profit or the company is doing poorly. This short term reduction of salary looks good for investors, but usually hurts the long term growth. AI only plays the role of being able to shift blame and look good in front of the investors. That is really it. If you just lay people off, investors might back off thinking your company is nose diving into the ground.

If you're not wise to the plan yet: They'll eventually raise prices to make the choice, "AI or employee" -- after it's good enough. Ai will be cheaper. The hardware to run it yourself won't be available to you (isn't now, not really). When have capitalists ever given the means of production to the proletariat? If you said, never... You are correct. we just happen to be in this strange period where they need ppl using it to make it better. (And hide/couch military uses as 'for the general public') What do you think the end goal of all this is? Cause it ain't so we can live better lives. Its just wealth consilidation, that's all it's ever been. Because at the end of day... Y'all trust CEO billionaires tweakin' on K that think they'll have mars colonies, dyson spheres, and space data centers... Yeahhhhhh. That's the ppl who own everything. We're f'd. Royally.
