Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

and now ai loves dropping mu-plugins everywhere. client says "i just asked chatgpt to add a small thing" and you find four of them doing overlapping stuff, none named after anything

I literally had to do a "Hey, from here on out, just assume I've already run this through AI. I am asking you your thoughts, not asking you AI's responses." It worked, or at least I stopped getting "chatgpt says..." responses from him.

I don’t mind using AI as a sounding board and a second opinion but we as humans need to still use our brains and decide what is best for the product because AI might suggest something that doesn’t make sense, or it lacks context to know any better. Copying AI response verbatim is wild because what you’re saying to me is that you’re now redundant and I might as well just skip the meaty middleman and just use Claude myself? Just the other day, we had a product meeting where we were struggling with a UI issue, I asked someone on the team to mockup a few ideas and present it to the team for discussion. He didn’t mock anything, he just vibed the first thing ChatGPT gave him. He presented it on the call, it was the stupidest UI suggestion I’ve ever seen, I called him out on it, with a better idea that everyone voted for in the end. He said “yeah sorry that was a ChatGPT suggestion, now you’ve called it out I can see now why it’s bad”. And I’m like, yeah but my idea that everyone voted for was also a ChatGPT inspired idea, but I didn’t use it verbatim, so what kind of fucking braindead prompt did you use to get this absolute nonsense. Did you even challenge it at all? I’m not sure what the fix is other than encouraging people to use AI as a tool, not a brain replacement. Maybe a training and awareness course? Maybe instant dismissal if you’re caught raw dogging AI suggestions without challenging it.

I had a boss who did this. Would ask my opinion on something technical (being the IT director) and then he would go ask chatGPT and do whatever chat said…. Like dude. That doesn’t make you smart, it just makes you an idiot faster.

I have a colleague who either formats their questions/responses with AI or asks AI to write. So I open my chat and see fully chatgpt style messages, the em dashes, the bullet points, the bold type... all for the most ridiculously easy question. People's brains are getting atrophied, it's not even funny. They're outsourcing human communication and basic thinking to AI.
