Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Is there any thoughts on opensourcing if you are planning on keeping this free forever? Even with ai input you sound like your really done an impressive job of identifying bottlenecks and you know what you are talking about (my definition of a vibe coder is someone who thinks 'that sounds right' without planning their user experience, knowing what issues there are with existing tooling, and then often moans that programming should have a version control system ;)). That doesn't read like you, I am on my phone so dont have dev tools but you have made this open to more languages than you are likely to speak - good internationalisation on a single person app is not likely to be hand written in five languages. I used to object to large amounts of client side js because of the carbon cost. Now that AI companies are planning whole powerplants for their server racks that's a bit moot. Well done anywhichway - this reminds me a bit of photopea.

one angle nobody mentioned: personal projects outlive your willingness to pay for them. i had a paid host lapse once and the site plus every subdomain just went dark. moved the static parts to cloudflare pages (free tier, custom domain, no card required) and now the parts that cant "expire" are the parts that dont bill. so my rule: frontend on a free static host forever, backend on something that scales to zero, and dns at cloudflare so you can repoint pieces in one click when you inevitably move the backend. and +1 to the billing alert advice above, that one sounds earned

Different situation , I am solo on my own stuff rather than in an org, currently one game backend, a site and a Telegram bot. Small numbers, and it still eats more time than I don't like. The thing that surprised me is that maintenance load doesn't really scale with project count, it scales with how many different stacks you've got. Three things on the same setup is barely more work than one. Two things on different platforms is genuinely double On the stakeholder side , the framing that seems to land is that every new project permanently reduces the time available for future ones. Not I'm busy, but this one costs you roughly X days a year forever. Turning it into an ongoing cost rather than a one-off build is the part people don't picture on their own.

Email is her meaningful alternative. You'll get nowhere with that attitude. You need to understand her thinking. She thinks tracking things in Github adds too much overhead to the project on a small team, resulting in a net productivity decrease. Your job - if you want to enact change - is to convince her that the productivity *decrease* of managing 'tickets' or 'issues' will result in a productivity *increase* that's greater than the overheads of issue tracking. If you can vocalise that, then you're golden. If you can't, you'll be stuck forever.
