Not much, we went to the courthouse and then took a small group out to a nice dinner. I wore a sundress and bought a fancy cake from a patisserie. We’ve been married over 10 years and have house in a nice neighborhood.

I've been back and forth for long. Had a partner for 10 years, we never had kids, thank god. But we did talk about it a lot and we felt we weren't mentally there yet, bot of us battled with depression and other things. Didnt want to bring a child into that. Then we seperated 3 years ago and i am thankful for not having kids. The more i think about it the more i realise i dont want kids. I dont hate kids but i dont want any of my own. I have three wonderful nieces and nephews and that is fine with me. I get to be the cool uncle.

Just turned 40, also single and childless. Felt like I dated people literally constantly from 16-30 and at some point just got sick of it and haven’t even asked anyone out in 10 years. I get a little sad about never having kids or potentially growing old alone but am mostly okay with my situation.

If that's where your mindset is, then it's time to take the leap. I left my ex-husband after 10 years of dating & marriage in 2014. I was SO scared to be single for the first time since I was a teenager. It was scary until I did it. The huge weight lifted off my shoulders was incredible and I stayed single for over 4 years. Had such a fun time doing what I wanted, when I wanted.
