   Canned oxygen is more for sporting reasons. High altitude hiking/mountain climbing and I’ve seen people with asthma use them for recovery as well. Much different than paying to sit at a kiosk and breathe.

   As someone with asthma they never did that to me, but asthma comes in all types so I can easily see it triggering an attack for someone with a different variety of asthma.

   Oh yeah. I’m pretty sure these went well into the 2000s. I bet it was a casualty of the Great Recession. Also apparently these things can actually trigger asthma attacks for people with asthma.

   Once the brain receives **no oxygen at all**, permanent injury can begin within roughly **4–6 minutes**, but the timing varies, and death may occur later. During an asthma attack, oxygen is usually falling progressively rather than stopping at one exact moment but a severe asthma attack can become fatal very quickly. My bff son died 2 yrs ago at only 24yrs old from an asthma attack leaving a son and family behind. His 18 yr old brother and mother both gave him mouth to mouth resuscitation and CPR as they waited for EMT to arrive. They were able to bring him bk for about 10 mins where he gasped for air but was breathing, he then died in her arms. EMT took literally 35mins to get there but it was then too late. To top it all off, they were rookie’s. The EMTs were confused in which equipment they should pull out of their bag to assist him. Unfknbelievable!!To make it even worse, they didn’t even allow his mom to go in the ambulance with him. God bless you Felix. And May you both sleep in heavenly peace. RIP Christy Knowings🕊️🙏🏼🕯️
