Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

I've had about 5 mammograms between 35-40 due to lots of (non-genetic) breast cancer cases in my family. They've all been painless, even when I was breastfeeding, so it always kinda surprises me when people talking about being in pain for hours after. Everybody's different.

Not that bad, but I was 12 weeks pregnant and sore and couldn’t take ibuprofen after. I went to a regional breast health center and it was very nice. Locker rooms, pink robes, velvet couches and lot of privacy. I found a lump while pregnant, turned out to be just an early full milk duct, but my OB said a lot of breast cancer is first discovered during pregnancy and didn’t want to take a chance.

My first was completely uneventful. I wouldn’t describe it as painful at all. More just like, slightly uncomfortable? It’s also over very quickly. Go get your tits checked, ladies! Breast cancer seems to be way worse than a mammogram, tbh.

I’ve had a couple. My mother’s had breast cancer so now I’m on the mammograms and breast MRI’s rotation every six months

It was both somehow exactly what I thought and really messed up all at once. I was told to leave my dignity at the door long before I went, and really held on to that. I didn't really know what a normal process was like. The first time I went in, I had a mammogram, they kept me for an ultrasound, then told me to come back in 6 months because I had dense breast tissue. I just figured that was normal for people with dense breast tissue. So, 6 months later I go back in. Note: My mom had been diagnosed with breast cancer like 8 weeks before I went in for the 6 month follow up. I'd also just started taking antidepressants for the first time. I had a mammogram and then they kept for an ultrasound again. Again, I thought that was normal until the doc and ultrasound tech file in nervously to tell me I have a lump. And I just start laughing because I'm adjusting to prozac, my mom had just told me horror stories, and of COURSE I need a biopsy. And I'm sharing all of this to say that these were the absolute kindest people I think I've ever met. They got me in at another center for a biopsy. I told the nurse at the biopsy place I was pretty nervous because of my mom's experience. Her lump was close to her chest wall and she experienced a lot of pain with the biopsy. That nurse advocated for me so hard that the doctor was like "Look, Nurse Advocate, you're making me nervous!" And guys, I felt nothing through the whole biopsy process. Long story short, I'm just lumpy and everything was fine. However, that post biopsy titty squish was NO JOKE. I will never forget it. The normal mammogram was intense enough. I'm like a 38 F and they squish em flat. Like, a tech just manhandled your boob like it's a chuck roast and throws it in there. But the post biopsy tech had the thickest Russian accent. She was super nice, but was also like "Okay. We will do GYMNASTICS!" and I was like "oh, whoa, this is gonna get wild" because they needed to see the marker they put in my boob. So the biopsy didn't hurt but man did that final mammogram leave a mark lol
