My high school girlfriends family would often buy goods including furniture, quilts, etc. from the Amish in PA. EVERYTHING they purchased was excellent quality! I even got to drive in a car sitting next to an Amish woman once. She just hopped right in when we were all going to her relatives to pick something up that was being worked on. LOL!

That’s for the tip! We do, about 35 miles away, but there is no public transportation around that area (and it’s across state lines). Unfortunately, I am entirely dependent on public transportation, as I don’t have a car (and can’t afford one or get approved for a car note until I have a job and income). It’s a rough cycle.
