Crocs were how I learned that I’d officially started to lose my pulse on the zeitgeist of youth culture. Five years ago, I texted my nieces (1996 & 1998 babies) this pic of someone wearing Crocs platforms. 1996 said: “Omg no is it too late to add those crocs to my Christmas list” and I laughed because I thought she was joking back until a couple days later when 1998 said: “Hahahaha omg. Just seeing all of this. Not only do the crocs exist, but they’re in style. I don’t care for the blue, however.“ Just go ahead and open up my spot at the old people’s home now, I guess!! 😭😭😂

My SIL got me a death star shaped grinder for Christmas one year because I like cooking. My wife and I about died laughing as we were telling her what it is really for. I mean you *can* grind some herbs for cooking with them but c'mon
