About 35k in 2025. We splurged on the food and bar, I did all the flowers/decor myself, and the venue was super cool and we had it for 2 days, so we did glamping for the bridal party. It was genuinely super fun and people are still talking about it! We did have ten years of dating to save, though.

Haha be careful what you wish for. Dating and finding love was easier in my 20s and I could only dream of being able to constantly travel. Now as a traveler, it does indeed become predictable, routine, boring, and it’s not particularly that enlightening or enriching. My Instagram is nothing but new places, luxury hotels, fine dining, in reality I’m the sad perpetually single uncle who just wants someone to love him, that’s the truth. Being a world traveler at our age is like living out a 25 year olds dream, it is pathetic. Next trip is in a couple weeks, but wish I instead was spending that money at Home Depot for a nursery in a boring suburban home with a significant other or something stereotypically adult like that. That’s the real flex in life, someone loving you

If that's where your mindset is, then it's time to take the leap. I left my ex-husband after 10 years of dating & marriage in 2014. I was SO scared to be single for the first time since I was a teenager. It was scary until I did it. The huge weight lifted off my shoulders was incredible and I stayed single for over 4 years. Had such a fun time doing what I wanted, when I wanted.
