   I didnt see it until 2022 when a older friend couldnt believe i knew about the halloween showings but never went to them. I thought it was a play lol. I kept hearing about it when i was 18 and 21 back in 2012 and 2015. Didnt care, lots more things out there. But after my friend showed me it i loved it. Wished i seen it wayyy sooner back then.

   Naw.. older iconic for us. I mean watching the movies was still extremely popular, but Vader is definitely gen x. A New Hope was '77 and by the time we came around Vader was already a popular halloween costume.

   Ernest Scared Stupid is worth watching once a year around Halloween if you like it. I have watched many of the others (had them in in the background) over the last year. They are excellent indicators of what the mid to late 90s kids' movies were like, but won't be as good as you remember. Jim was an incredible actor. He made himself marketable for the demand of the market but was capable of much more than what the market demanded at the time. Also worth mentioning he was a heavy smoker but kept it hidden from his young fans to prevent them from developing the habit as well. He died of lung cancer at 50, so his smoking was at least a significant factor in his death. RIP Jim Varney. Know what I mean?

   Yup, ate 12. Had to go to the pediatrician and drink Epicac and throw up in a bowl for the rest of the night and couldn't eat any Halloween leftover candies EVEN THOUGH I WAS FINE. Like, I was only throwing up bc of the medicine, not bc I had a stomach bug. You'd think chocolate would actually be recommended but whatever.
