I just watched a video yesterday of an interview (not sure how old it was) of Hayden talking about how when she was 19, she told her mom something to the effect of not wanting to work with her and just wanting to have a different relationship. Her mom said in response, “you owe me” and the conversation ended. Hayden was really hurt by that because she didn’t know what her mom meant and it continued to negatively impact their relationship

I never lied on a resume or interview, but it's alarming how many places don't call references or the last place you worked. Previous job I worked my way up to being a district manager. In my interview I told them that. They just gave me the job. Sure the pay is great, but their leadership structure is so wishy washy that having experience really means nothing. And everyone there has never worked anywhere else so it's all they know. Long story short- way more people could be beefing up their opportunities (and starting pay) simply by telling the interviewer that they've been a lead or trainer. They're just looking for someone crazy enough to do the job.

man... what I would do for an automated rejection. The 3 or 4th interview followed by ghosting is the killer IMO
