$35 for the license. I eloped in the park and got FB marketplace witnesses (an adorable nurse and her mom who likes to cry at weddings, they even got us a gift. it was precious). my best friend married us in The Church of the Dude. Mine was similar! I wore a dress I'd had for years, we bought my husband a shirt and suspenders cause his didn't fit. I think the biggest purchases were some secondhand boots I'd been wanting for years (maybe $75), and the marriage certificate. We fought over photo spots at the park with prom kids. There was a furry in the parking lot.

About $3k in 2023 excluding the cost of the rings. I got my dress from a prom dress store, husband bought a suit. We invited about 25 people and 20 were able to make it. We had a photographer. We got married in a park by a person from the court, then had a 3 hour reception with food at a local brewery. We did it in the middle of the day so that people could drive home afterwards and not have to spend a lot on hotels.

I got married in 2010 and we had 60 guest and had the wedding in a park and then reception at a golf course with open bar and buffet style food. The total cost was about $5k for everything.

Whatever the cost to drive to the park was. Totally worth it, we avoided drama from both our our moms and we bought a house instead.
