   25k in 2024. 170 attended, buffet dinner, late night pizza, bar had wine, beer, and batched cocktails. Venue was a municipal building with no rules. Best party I've ever thrown.

   Ours was in 2018. We got married on a Wednesday because we wanted the date and then reception on that Friday. Wednesday venue and dinner after for the small ~35 people there was less than a grand. Then venue, open bar, food, DJ, decorations, etc. on Friday was about 18.5k in total we spent about 20k on it.

   £37,000 Devon, England. Beautiful country house, band, meal, marquee, open bar, food, lawn games, photographers, two dresses, suits, bridesmaids dresses, accommodation and meals for family / best man / maid of honour… aaaand cleaning fee because it was just after Covid lockdowns so the venue did full deep cleaning after each wedding. Beautiful day. Amazing time. Loved every second of it. Still with my wife for years later - we were together for nine years before wedding, so we were already very secure! We didn’t really need such a big event but we figured it was the first time in two years that everyone was able to just get together after Covid lockdowns eased so fuck it go mad and have a huge party, family came from Germany, Australia, Asia… We didn’t have a first dance because fuck that for a laugh, but it was just a straight up perfect day and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

   Wedding cost $3000 (my dress and alterations cost the bulk of this, but this included ceremony, venue, tux, cake, officiant and wedding certificate) was the and honeymoon and hotel stay the night after wedding was $5000 (inclusive of flights, accommodation, food, drink and activities). I had a small wedding with just 6 attendees. Spent the night of my wedding at the Beverly Wilshire hotel and went to Bora Bora for my honeymoon. My husband worked in luxury hospitality at the time so we took advantage of his discounts. I really like that we had a small wedding - it was during the pandemic so a great reason to keep the guest list small and then we did a live stream that our family and friends around the world could watch. Thought I would regret not having a reception and party after but it was less of a headache and I actually got to enjoy my wedding and loved how intimate it was as well as the money saved.
